god and revenge....

This post at schadenfreud reminded me of one of my favorite phrases.

long ago in a music store, far, far away... there was this one piano tuner that was in the store fairly regularly, he would come in and cover for the sales guys on occasion. anyway, we were all standing around carping about someone and he said, rather seriously, "well, just remember, vengance is mine sayeth the lord", then he broke into a smile and added, "and i LOVE doing the lord's work!"
