I watched the 1945 version of State Fair tonight. I'd never heard this song before. the little feature on the DVD is quite entertaining too. all kinds of fun facts from people from the R&H society(? might be library, I can't remember now) and some people involved in making a stage adaptation for it in 1996. I didn't know it originated as a movie. anyhoo, some fun music and pretty fluffy story. nobody died.
