thinking I may not do anything else til next year

in the mean time, I've started volume 2 of War and Remembrance.  So far it's been kinda meh. The miniseries really covered everything so there haven't been any surprises.  Anyhoo, a little curious about if I've missed anything since vol. 1 ended on page 494 and vol. 2 started with page 570.  is there a vol. 1.5? hopefully my reading speed will pick up now.
