as RTO would say Telco is evil...
phone went out again yesterday, thanks to phone co employees having no idea what they were doing. this has happened three times since december, they come out to work on something and screw it up worse than it was before. called customer service last night and they just kept telling us that they couldn't send anyone out til this morning. THANKS FOR NOTHING!!!! COME OUT HERE AND MESS UP MY PHONE AND DON'T FIX IT, THEN JUST TAKE YOUR SWEET TIME!!!!!! CS was like, well, are you sure it's our line, cause the line test is fine. and we're like, pretty sure it's your problem because the junction box in the alley is open and cables are sticking out of it. but, don't bother fixing it til you have time. repair person shows up this morning and sure enough, whoever worked on the thing yesterday cut part of the line, apparently it only effected us and the house across the alley from us. what's even more fun, is they KNEW THEY'D CAUSED A PROBLEM, but were too incompetent to actually fix it. hence the cables, they ran two cables to the house behind us, but didn't hook it up right, one line should have come back here. still it was so annoying that they knew they'd screwed up but didn't fix it. fortunately nothing life threatening happened here else we'd be dead. i think Verizon is going to get a nice letter from me.
