won't somebody PLEASE think of THE CHILDREN!?

last night rto found a notice on our door about a city council meeting being held at seven and how we should go to save dorsey elementary from development! rto as usual just got mad about not knowing what the hell they were talking about and they didn't bother to explain it either. i wasn't any help, though i had looked for it in the paper after seeing the sign on the lot for rezoning. and a few days later a sign about the council meeting showed up across the street in the yard of the house with big dogs. only thing we can figure is it would mean more traffic, as the drive that currently only goes to the school would be extended to an entrance for the development. that and i'll lose a nice big wooded area to hide bodies in.
