i'm not sure.. wednesday? well, I finished Thinking, Fast and Slow and The Devil's Dictionary and some trash. currently reading Music and the Mind, which is covering a lot of ground I've already gone over. oh well. seem to be putting off getting to The Remembrance of Things Past, cause it's a monster.

reading fast and slow....

having RTO home has slowed down my reading pace. currently reading Thinking, Fast and Slow it's okay, a bit too much math for my taste.

anyhoo, thought my kindle had died last night, had tried to reset it many times and finally decided to chat with an amazon person to see about getting a replacement. so of course, as soon as they show up to chat my kindle springs back to life. it just needed to make me look like a goof, I guess.

read Musicophilia this week, I'm just amazed at what can go wrong with a brain. also how music has it's own processing.

Anyhoo, it's my birthday this week so I'm reading trash. Nothing but romance novels and comics. w007!

I was in Vegas last week...

yet managed to read some not trash. Read The Borough because I thought it might help me make sense of Peter Grimes, but it didn't. They took some liberties with the libretto. Also read The Extra Day. It was cute. anyhoo, been reading trash since I got back. feel like I need to reduce that pile before RTO gets home.
