 actually first there's a Wilson Quarterly and a Classical Singer.

one week later...

the end is in sight.  I've made it to chapter 2 of Part II of the Guermantes Way. (third book for those keeping track) only about 200 pages to go.  The plan is to finish this before I leave for Florida and read trash for a while and start volume 2 after I get back. we'll see if I make it.

it has begun...

finally started Remembrance of Things Past. I'm thinking maybe I should look at it as a series I've finished the first book, Swann's Way. It is not quick reading, but kinda interesting, makes you think about memory and how it works, attaches itself to things.

too much free trash on amazon. anyhoo, I've sneaked in some ambrose bierce, but probably not enough to count. still avoiding Rememberance of Things Past.
