it is finished....

wrapped up Remembrance of Things Past yesterday and have already finished my first trash read.  It's gonna be trash for a while... I have a lot.

oh, and a reader's digest and a Real Simple. read those too.

the end is near(er)

I've made it to the final book, Time Regained. So just a couple hundred more pages to go!

oh, and we found vol. 2 of War and Remembrance on our trip. so I've added the whole thing to the pile.

dvr emergency....

well, I did the math a few days ago and no way am I finishing vol II before Thursday.  I would have had to read 130 pages a day.... I do about 50 on a good day, it reads that slowly.

in the mean time I've got more than a week's worth of Red Eyes and four operas recorded and one scheduled to record tomorrow so I'm gonna be watching tv today. yay!

Volume II: electric boogaloo

I wish.  got home Saturday started vol. II of Remembrance of Things Past yesterday, hoping to have it finished before we leave again next week.

oh, and added The Winds of War to the nightstand pile. We'd watched it before RTO deployed and I noticed we also had the book so I figured I'd read it. Started watching War and Remembrance last night, might read it depending on how I like the first one.
